A caricature of the great scientist Leonhard Euler. I'm doing lots of caricatures of physicist and mathematicians for one of my teachers, who's writing a book. So, until the book gets published, I'll share only this one, because was one of my favorites.
Ok, you hit close to home here. Euler is a mathematician that I have a close attachment too. I not only loved his infamous Bridges problem (and how his work has led to quite a few games and puzzles), but I working by myself while 14 years old, I stumbled on the infamous Euler equation without knowing he had beaten me to it. Darn those 18th century mathematicians!
Wow, 14 years old and playing around with the Euler equation! That's impressive! At 14 years old I was just playing soccer and that's all, There would be a lot of time ahead for me to find the Euler equation at school for the first time, maybe when I was 25 or so and doing my graduate studies. I'm more fond of physics, myself, but I have always appreciated the beauty of maths!
